Since 2011, MEDOC runs under an agreement between CNRS/INSU, Université Paris-Saclay, and CNES. Following this agreement, MEDOC is managed by:
- A scientific director, currently Éric Buchlin (IAS).
- A technical director, currently Stéphane Caminade (IAS).
- A project manager, currently Nicolas Dufourg (CNES).
- A users’ committee (Comité des Utilisateurs), currently composed of Thierry Corbard (president), Patrick Boumier, Baptiste Cecconi, Véronique Delouille, Sophie Masson, and Alexis Rouillard.
- A steering committee (Comité Directeur), composed of CNRS/INSU, Université Paris-Saclay, and CNES representatives.
Both committees meet yearly.
MEDOC is hosted at the Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale, a CNRS/Université Paris-Saclay laboratory in Orsay, France.
MEDOC is also a CNRS-INSU service in astronomy and astrophysics for “ANO-5” (data centers) and “ANO-6” (monitoring of the Sun of the space environment), as part of the services provided by the Observatoire des Sciences de l’Univers Paris-Saclay (a department of Université Paris-Saclay).
